In a communiqué issued by the President, third class Chief Ndiko F. henry, along with his Secretary General HRH Edward Ngalle Motande III, this Monday June 24, the group said they had forgiven the Paramount Chief Elect of Limbe, John Elufa Manga Williams, for the sake of peace and harmony to reign amongst Limbe Chiefs Conference.
Chief John Elufa was threatened by the Limbe Chiefs Conference, after he handed over a symbolic key to the SDF National Chairman, Ni John Fru Ndi, during the latter's recent visit to the South West region. This sparked a lot of controversy, as the Chiefs demanded he takes back the key from Fru Ndi.
According to the communiqué, Chief John Elufa, finally apologised on Saturday June 22, during a meeting at the Mokindi Chiefs Palace, where he dropped an apology letter.
The group has agreed to forgive the Limbe Paramount Chief elect but want the SDF national chairman to return the key he was given.
